An energetic team of playworkers, dancers, actors and childcare professionals; we create amazing play areas and entertain children at festivals, birthday parties, weddings and family fun days. We also organise holiday clubs and school workshops.
Most importantly, we champion children to be the most totally awesome versions of themselves. This mission keeps our team sailing in the same direction. We’re proud to call ourselves SuperPirates.
Our story
SuperPirates can trace its roots back to humble beginnings as a little after school club 10 years ago. Focusing on play and letting kids be kids, it was instantly popular….
Fast forward and SuperPirates is now a team of twenty or so actors, dancers, teachers and playworkers. We run events all over the country but have a home in the city of Bath.
The recent pandemic has brought challenges but also opportunity. SuperPirates has reached living rooms all over the world with our online parties and adventure workouts.

The founder of SuperPirates. On a mission - with his team - to help kids be their most totally awesome selves!
Jason is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and loves to compete, even though competitions can be a bit scary! He's a qualified skydiver and scuba rescue diver as well. Maybe he just likes doing scary things; he grew up wanting to be in the Royal Marines but somehow became a SuperPirate instead! He enjoys circus and magic.

Sarah discovered SuperPirates at a local event and knew she just had to get involved! Helping kids be awesome sounded like her cup of tea!
She’s the one answering your emails, planning events and making sure the team knows where to go. That said, say the word ‘festival’ and she’ll be there; joining in the fun is her real passion!
She loves a good musical and Disney film. She’s a military wife and has two gorgeous young children!

Lewis was still at college when his tutor, also a parent at SuperPirates, recommended him to join the team. We’re glad she did!
Forever asking “can we do this?”, Lewis takes the lead on play at SuperPirates. He a party legend and holiday club star. Never short on sparkly leggings and wild ideas, the company is a far more silly - and awesome - place with Lew on board.
