If you’ve made it this far, you’re made of something special. SuperPirates isn’t just a job - it’s a mission! You’ve chosen to join a crew set on a course to inspire kids to be the most awesome people they can be.

To get you aboard ASAP, below are a few vital steps you’ll need to complete.

Our RECRUITMENT Steps:

1) Application form and interview. âś”

2) References. We will contact your references and let you know if any need chasing up.

3) Personal info forms. These forms cover basics such as home address and emergency contact details, as well as a medical declaration. You’ll also need to complete Tax & Payment Form and upload a photo.

4) DBS check. A criminal records check, crucial for safeguarding.

  • If you have a DBS registered with the update service, or a DBS that is less than 3 months old, please click the button below to upload your DBS number, date of DBS & copy of your certificate, if you have it.

  • If you need to apply for a new DBS certificate, please email Sarah; recruitment@superpirates.co.uk so we can begin the online application.

  • Sarah will need to see your ID documents to complete the application process. Please upload a copy of your passport, drivers licence and document showing current address eg. council tax bill or bank statement.

5) Important Reading. Our resources page has lots of information that you can access at any time. If you are ever uncertain about something, this page more than likely contains the answer! To make sure you’re up to speed, you must read the following:

  • It’s your legal duty to read section 1 of Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022,

  • Our General Handbook

  • Risk Assessments for any clubs you are attending

6) Educare. This is an online training platform. We’ll require you to undergo some basic Safeguarding training before you work with us. Look out for an email inviting you to join the platform.

7) Qualifications. Please upload completed Educare courses here, and any courses you have which are relevant for the role.

8) Rotacloud. Look out for an email invitation to set up an account on Rotacloud. There’s both a website and a mobile app. This is where we’ll post your rota, and it’s also how you’ll request time off.

9) Onboarding Quiz. Save this one until you’ve completed all the previous steps. It’s a quick assessment to make sure it’s all sunk in!

10) Onboarding 1-to-1. It’s important to us that you get a chance to ask questions in person, and to make sure that you are confident and ready to play. Your 1-to-1 will be arranged by a manager. We’ll go over some key points in the General Handbook and give you your uniform.

11) Meet the team. We’re a solid crew, full of talents and ambitions. Below are some photos and you’ll meet us all soon enough. We’ll add you to a Whattsapp chat for all things mission related. If you’ve got ideas and talents, please be proud and share them with us. SuperPirates is a melting pot for creativity and we want the company to grow with you onboard.
